From a workflow to a guide

Capture a task with the IPPO Chrome extension or import an existing video. IPPO processes the source into a draft with instructions and screenshots. Review the draft in the guide editor, then export a document or share a link.

Use IPPO for repeatable processes such as onboarding, internal procedures and product walkthroughs. Record one clear task at a time so the finished guide has a useful beginning and end.

Choose how to start

Start from whichever source you already have. Each path ends in the same draft guide for you to review.

Record in Chrome

Use the IPPO Chrome extension to record a task in the browser. After you stop, review the captured steps and confirm Save capture or an import option; stopping alone does not upload the recording.

Record a workflow with IPPO

Upload a video

Upload a video you already have to a project, then choose Generate when the source is ready. The uploader accepts MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI, MKV and M4V.

Upload an existing video

Import a document

Attach a PDF or DOCX to a project and choose Generate guide. Compare the result with the document before publishing.

Create a guide from a document

Review before publishing

AI can miss an action, select an unclear image or describe a step incorrectly. Read every instruction and compare it with the screenshot. Remove private information and try following the guide yourself before sharing it.

Processing time varies with the recording and workload. The status shown in IPPO is the place to check progress; starting another job is not a way to speed up an existing one.

Common questions

Do I need the extension?

Use the Chrome extension to record browser workflows with IPPO. You can also upload an existing video through the web app, or use the project's PDF/DOCX document import flow.

How long does generation take?

It varies with the source and workload. Check the item's current status in Videos. If it fails or stays unchanged, record the visible status and follow the processing troubleshooting article.

Can I correct the generated guide?

Yes, with the appropriate editing access. Review step text, order, screenshots and language versions in the guide editor. Always check the draft before publishing.
