Sign in to IPPO. Choose a short task you know well and use sample data where possible. If you will record in Chrome, install and connect the IPPO extension first. You can also start with an existing video.

What you should have
Inspect a sample finished guideExample with sample data
Example with sample data: a document rendered locally by IPPO's current export renderer. It illustrates the output layout with fictional content, not a completed export from a live account.
Confirm the title and selected language.
Read the instructions in order and compare each screenshot.
Check the actual downloaded file, including page breaks, before sharing.
Open the downloaded document or test the recipient link. Confirm the title, steps, images, language and access restrictions. Your project now contains a reviewed guide; keep it organised so the team can find and maintain it later.
Getting Started
Sign in and manage your session
Access IPPO with the sign-in methods offered for your account or organisation.
Open the IPPO sign-in page. If you do not yet have access, use Request access on the IPPO home page and follow the approval instructions. Account creation is subject to access approval.
Once you have access, choose an available sign-in method and complete any verification requested on screen. Use the account associated with your project invitation.
Once signed in, open the dashboard. If you were following a protected link, check that you reach the intended page.
If you cannot sign in
Use the recovery options shown on the sign-in screen. For organisation-managed access, contact your administrator if the expected sign-in method is unavailable.
Signing in does not grant access to every project. Ask the project owner to invite the correct email address if a project is missing. Sign out from the account menu when using a shared computer.
Getting Started
Install and connect the Chrome extension
Prepare the IPPO extension so browser recordings can reach your account.
Choose Get extension to open the configured Chrome Web Store listing. Install the extension and confirm the browser prompt.
Open Chrome's Extensions menu and pin IPPO if you want a shortcut in the toolbar.
Open the IPPO extension and complete the connection or sign-in flow it presents. Check that it is connected to your intended account before recording.
Check the connection
Choose Screen or TabExample with sample data
Source UI example: the connected Chrome extension, ready to record. Choose Screen or Tab, then Start. Screen opens the browser source chooser; Tab records the active tab.
Open a normal website tab that you are allowed to record, then open the extension there. Browser internal pages and some protected content cannot be recorded in the same way as ordinary pages.
If IPPO cannot detect the extension, check that it is enabled in the current Chrome profile and refresh IPPO. Managed browsers may require your administrator to approve installation.
